Add text to the top and bottom of every page, including page numbers, dates, and the file name.
Reports, contracts, and handouts usually need page numbers or a document title on every page. Adding them after the PDF is made is far quicker than going back to the original file and exporting it again.
Worth knowing: Text is drawn on top of the existing page. If your pages already have content near the edges, increase the margin so nothing overlaps.
Drag the file onto the upload area, or browse from your device.
There are three boxes for the header and three for the footer: left, centre, and right. Fill in only the ones you need.
Use {page}, {pages}, {date}, or {filename} anywhere in your text and they are filled in for each page.
Save the new file with your header and footer in place.
The whole job happens inside your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded, so contracts, invoices, and personal paperwork stay on your own machine. Close the tab and nothing remains.
Your original file is also left exactly as it was. The tool builds a new PDF and hands it to you, so you always keep the version you started with.
Add your PDF, then type the text you want on the left, in the centre, or on the right, for the header and the footer separately. Leave a box empty to skip it.

Use {page} where the page number should appear and {pages} for the total. For example "Page {page} of {pages}" becomes "Page 3 of 12".
{date} inserts today's date and {filename} inserts the name of your file. These are replaced when the PDF is created.
