Worth knowing: Headings, bullet and numbered lists, block quotes, code blocks, and horizontal rules are laid out, and **bold**, *italic*, and ***both together*** are rendered properly.

This tool uses the fonts that are built into every PDF reader, which keeps the file small and means it opens correctly everywhere. Those fonts cover Latin based languages, including accented characters such as é, ü, and ñ.
They do not cover Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, or similar scripts, which need a matching font to be stored inside the PDF. If your file is written in one of those, the tool says so clearly rather than handing you a document full of question marks.

Yes. A4, Letter, and Legal are available, in portrait or landscape, and you can set the margin and text size as well.
