A blank line starts a new paragraph, and long lines are wrapped to fit the page width so nothing runs off the edge.
Lines are re-wrapped to fit the page, which is what makes the result readable. If you need every line kept exactly as it is, such as log output, put it in a code block in the editor or use JSON to PDF.
